Early Childhood Program
Pre-Kindergarten
Four year old students can enroll in the Pre-Kindergarten class, which meets 3 mornings a week from 8:30 to 11:30. Children in this class are given structured learning activities, introduction to phonics and socialization skills required for kindergarten. The A Beka K4 curriculum is used. Christian character training is developed through work and play experiences geared to the 4 year old level. Class size is limited.
Half-Day Kindergarten
The traditional half-day Kindergarten session meets five half-days per week in the morning from 8:30 - 11:30. This academically challenging, well structured class is for students who demonstrate readiness for the social, physical, emotional and intellectual demands of an academic Kindergarten. A strong phonics approach to reading characterizes the A Beka K5 curriculum, which prepares children in this class to begin reading by mid-year. Class size is limited.
Full-Day Kindergarten
Students attending the full-day kindergarten program spend the entire day 8:30 to 3:00 engaged in all areas of academics at a slightly slower pace with greater expansion and enrichment opportunities. Hands-on science and math activities, whole language enrichment, along with age appropriate social development and Christian character training are some of the features of this program. Class size is limited.
